Why We Built This Site
Wisconsin provides public access to many docket entries and court records, but the correct route depends on the item sought. WCCA offers statewide circuit-court case information. The Rusk County Clerk of Circuit Court keeps the official Wisconsin Circuit Court file, assists with public access, and handles copies. Ladysmith Municipal Court separately hears city ordinance forfeitures. Appeals from Rusk County Circuit Court go to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District III. Bringing these official paths together makes it easier to distinguish a hearing date, docket entry, filed document, municipal matter, and appellate case.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no affiliation to a Wisconsin court, clerk, or government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- Official docket sheets and case files cannot be retrieved here
- Only the court can set, move, or confirm a hearing date
- No case can be sealed, removed, or amended through this resource
- Certified dockets, orders, and filings must come from the clerk
- Questions requiring legal advice must go to a licensed attorney
- Current contacts, fees, and settings must be verified with the official source
An official or certified docket or record can be issued only by the clerk or court holding the case. This resource can identify that office, but cannot supply the document.
Search Partners
Third-party companies power search boxes on some pages. Each provider controls its own service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports free public access to this resource. We do not set partner charges, select their results, or turn those results into an official Rusk County record.
